Rebecca Peebles, DO, is a primary care and sports medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians on Patriot Drive in Tyler. She specializes in running medicine, osteopathic manipulation, nutrition and exercise as medicine. “I employ a holistic approach while looking for the problem behind the problem, rather than just treating the concern at hand.”
“At the age of 10, I developed a sports injury. I was intrigued and grateful to be treated by a physician whose focus was to keep me doing the things I love. From that initial encounter, I have been committed to pay if forward by tailoring the patient’s care to keep them in their own game,” Peebles said.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Peebles enjoys spending time with her family, running, competing in triathlons, hiking, spending time outdoors and following Jesus.
Dr. Peebles is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
