Joe Moss explains his role as a certified physician assistant: “I look at my job as being a manager of my patients’ healthcare. I can help them, be here for guidance, but they have to do most of the work themselves. So I’m really the manager of their treatment.” Mr. Moss started his career in healthcare as a registered nurse, but after working in that field for nearly nine years, he decided to make a change. “I wanted to give a higher level of care. I love being a physician assistant because I have more of an impact on my patients’ lives.”
