UT Health East Texas offers video visits to all new and established patients with a primary care provider to help stop the spread of COVID-19. It is safe, secure and available for individuals experiencing either common health conditions or mild symptoms of COVID-19, such as:
- Cough (usually dry)
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of smell
Call 911 immediately or go to the Emergency Room if you are experiencing severe symptoms of COVID-19 (trouble breathing, persistent pain or chest pressure, confusion, blue lips or face).
How to Schedule a Video Visit
New and current patients can call our offices at 903-596-DOCS (3627) to schedule an online video visit for new appointments, current appointments or ongoing issues. For primary care video visits, you can also schedule online. For patients of UT Health East Texas Medical Group primary care providers, visit uthealtheasttexasdoctors.com. For patients of UT Health East Texas North Campus primary care providers, visit uthealthnorth.com/providers.
Similar to an in-person appointment, the cost for video visits with your provider depends on your insurance. Some plans have reduced or waived the co-pay for virtual video visits.
