“I went into health care because I wanted to help people,” Dr. Hardy said. “Experiencing different healthcare settings in my own life showed me how important it is to have a provider patients and their families can trust. Medicine allows me to combine my curiosity and love for learning with my commitment to serving others and making a real difference in their lives.” “I chose family medicine because I enjoy every part of medicine and didn’t want to focus on just one area,” Dr. Hardy said. “In medical school, I found something I liked in every rotation, and being a primary care doctor lets me use all of those skills. I love caring for people at every stage of life, from newborns to end of life care, and being a consistent presence in their lives is incredibly rewarding.” “My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, whole person care,” Dr. Hardy said. “I value building strong, trusting relationships with patients and working together to create realistic plans that fit their needs and goals. My special interests include preventive care, women’s health, mental health, osteopathic manipulative treatment, and in-office procedures. I care for patients of all ages and believe understanding the whole person, not just their symptoms, is key to lifelong wellness.” Dr. Hardy is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
