About Michelle Cook, APRN, FNP-C
Michelle Cook is a family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in orthopedics including 10 years as a nurse practitioner. She provides care with a holistic approach focusing on the patient as a whole rather than solely on the issue they are experiencing. Her goal is to combine expertise and empathy to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes while maintaining their overall health and well-being.
"My interest in health care began after my grandmother was diagnosed with ALS. Witnessing her journey inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others through direct patient care," said Michelle. Over the years she has developed a passion for orthopedics and enjoys guiding patients through treatment and recovery processes supporting them at every stage.
Michelle has extensive experience in general orthopedics and brings her expertise to hand surgery. She treats patients across all age groups and says, "Other providers and patients can rely on my comprehensive approach combining clinical expertise with patient-centered care to ensure safe, effective and personalized treatment plans."
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling and working out.
