About Susan Gallien APRN, FNP-C

Susan Gallien, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner at the UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute in Tyler. Susan had several careers before she got into healthcare, but none were fulfilling like being a nurse. Her brother is also a nurse, and seeing how he insisted for their mother to receive the best healthcare possible while she fought cancer is what inspired her to become a nurse.

Susan has a special interest in oncology and pulmonology that comes from her mother’s medical journey. Susan goes the extra mile to help her patients and their family. It is important for her to treat every patient like she would want her family treated.

When not treating patients, Susan loves boating, fishing and traveling.
