About Paul Morelli PA-C

Paul Morelli, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant (PA) specializing in urology at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Athens, Corsicana, Kaufman, and Palestine. Morelli seeks to actively be engaged with each patient, so they have a good understanding of their medical conditions including underlying causes, evaluations and treatment options and expected outcomes. “I believe that all patients deserve to have risk, benefits and potential side effects disclosed, so they may be active participants in their care and have realistic expectations and outcomes.”

With family members in the medical field, Morelli chose to become a physician assistant when he was working in a family practice clinic. “I was working with a PA and saw her ability to provide care with a close working relationship with the doctors, and yet did not require the time commitment to school.”

Morelli has spent the last 21 years working with Dr. Ruben Garcia and Dr. William Elfarr in Athens. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, as well as working on his numerous cars and motorcycles.
