About Christine Powell MD

Dr. Christine Powell, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who sees patients of all ages at UT Health East Texas Physicians Clinic on Lake Street in Tyler. “I am devoted to providing comprehensive healthcare for the entire family. I strive to help patients achieve optimal health through promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.”

Dr. Powell has practiced in Tyler since 1994 and wants to make a difference in her patients’ lives. “I want to show my patients that I truly care about them and will work with them to provide the best care possible.”

She always knew that she wanted to be a physician. “In college, I really enjoyed the focus on wellness and interaction with the entire family that family medicine provided.”

Dr. Powell is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
