About Morgan Hearn APRN, FNP-C

Morgan Hearn, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Quitman. She wanted to become a nurse for as long as she can remember. “I realized that nursing was exactly what God wanted me to do. I love caring for people and helping them through their worst days,” she said.

While she sees patients of all ages, she especially enjoys caring for elderly patients with memory problems such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. It can be really hard for families to care for them due to the emotional and physical stress that it puts on them,” she said. “I feel caring for the family in those situations is equally as important as caring for the patient.”

When not seeing patients, Morgan enjoys spending time with family and friends.
