About Betty Vale, APRN, ONP-C, NP-C
Betty Vale APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians at Three Lakes in Tyler, focusing on osteoporosis care and bone health. โI want to provide people with services they need, in their own community, by working in partnership with them toward better overall health.โ
Although she sees patients from various health backgrounds, she is especially interested in helping patients with bone health. โI have always had interest in spine, joints and muscles. If these areas are painful, or donโt function well, it impacts our ability to move, which in turn impacts our ability to enjoy life. Adding a fracture to that can cause significant pain and limitation. Preserving and optimizing bone health helps us enjoy a life with fewer limitations.โ
She earned her bachelorโs degree in anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, and later returned to The University of Texas at Tyler to earn her bachelorโs degree in nursing. In addition, she earned her masterโs degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner certification from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri. She sought specialty certification in Orthopedics and holds an ONP-C certification from the National Association of Orthopedic Nursing.
Her personal interests include spending time on the farm with her family or spending time on the trails riding her horse.
