About Sam Raborn MD
Sam Raborn, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Chandler. Growing up in a small West Texas town influenced Dr. Raborn’s approach to medicine. “The same doctor who delivered me took care of me through school. He was part of the family. That’s the whole idea behind family medicine – it needs to be personal.”
Dr. Raborn’s priority is giving excellent care to his patients by getting to know them. “The more I know about a patient, the easier it is to develop a medical plan of care. Sometimes listening is as much a part of being a doctor as prescribing medicine.”
Dr. Raborn is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
