I think Sam Raborn is a great doctor!

Dr. Raborn is kind and very easy to talk to. He actually listens, unlike some physicians. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and helpful. I feel like he genuinely cares about his patients, and works hard to provide the best care!

He listened very carefully. Did not seem rushed in the least. My appt required more time than the allotted 15-20 min (I was dealing w/death of my mother and making long distance funeral, etc, with no family help, after long term decline of mental status (dementia) of both mother & brother, with all that entails.Yet Dr Raborn did not rush me through; he offered me suggestions (and advice for my own planning so my child will not experience the same thing), reassured me I was not weak or crazy, prescribed anxiety meds (I was having panic attacks) and a hug. All of this sounds so simple & logical, but when you're in the middle of the storm & having panic attacks for the first time in your life, there is no simple or logical anything. I am so very thankful he is the kind of doctor who does not judge moments of weakness, and spends the time needed, and offers compassion to his patients in their time of mental crisis. He has always been a good listener, a caring doctor; but this seemed "heroic" when I was drowning in doubt & dispair.

Dr Raborn are among my two top doctors in different fields.

If you leave that office wondering what was he talking about, it's on you. You should have asked more questions.Dr Raborn has seen me through many challenges and I always knew he was there for me.
