UT Health East Texas is proud to introduce an expanded range of clinical services within The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine building. This modern facility strengthens our commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
Patients will enjoy convenient access to advanced outpatient imaging – including MRI, CT and mammography – along with specialized orthopedic, women’s health and pulmonology clinics. The building also features modern surgery suites designed to support a wide variety of procedures. By bringing these services together under one roof, we are advancing health, supporting medical education and enhancing well-being throughout East Texas.
First Floor: Breast Center and MRI
The Breast Center features four 3D mammography units for enhanced clarity and earlier detection, along with two breast ultrasound rooms for more targeted evaluation. Patients also have access to bone density testing to support long-term bone health. Adjacent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology includes specialized breast and cardiac imaging, providing high-resolution studies for precise diagnosis.

Second Floor: Women’s Health Center and Diagnostic Imaging
The second floor offers cardiac CT with dual-source technology, delivering exceptional speed and clarity – even for patients with higher heart rates. Additional services include X-ray and fluoroscopy for both diagnostic and interventional needs, as well as a speech therapy TIMS unit, which supports real-time swallow studies to guide therapy.

Our Women’s Health Center brings together nine physicians and four advanced practice providers, offering comprehensive care for women at every age and stage. The center includes 28 spacious clinic rooms, four dedicated ultrasound rooms and two fully equipped treatment rooms for in-office procedures.

Third Floor: Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute
The UT Health East Texas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute integrates orthopedics, sports medicine and physical therapy and rehabilitation into one coordinated care team. The new space includes 36 exam rooms, three X-ray suites and two casting rooms, allowing patients to be evaluated and treated efficiently in one location.
Our fellowship-trained specialists provide both surgical and nonsurgical solutions, supported by on-site EMG and nerve testing for accurate diagnosis. With same-day or next-day appointments, streamlined imaging access and close collaboration with referring providers, we make expert musculoskeletal care more convenient than ever.

Fourth Floor: Pulmonary Institute
The Pulmonary Institute brings together nine physicians and four advanced practice providers from across our regional network into a single, state-of-the-art center. The floor includes 33 exam rooms, two procedure rooms and six pulmonary function testing rooms designed to minimize scheduling delays. Additional features include a cardiopulmonary exercise testing room for comprehensive heart-lung assessment and an on-site X-ray room to support continuity of care.
