About Mark Robbins, MD
โI am dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative vascular care that enhances patientsโ health and quality of life,โ says Dr. Robbins. โWith more than 20 years of experience, I specialize in treating arterial and venous diseases including peripheral arterial disease (PAD), carotid disease and abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). My expertise includes minimally invasive, catheter-based endovascular interventions such as angioplasty, stenting and atherectomy, which offer patients faster recovery and improved outcomes. I believe in a personalized approach that addresses each patientโs unique needs.
โA major focus of my practice is limb salvage by intervening to prevent amputations through both endovascular and complex vascular surgeries,โ he says. โI trained at the Jobst Vascular Center at the University of Michigan, where I developed skills in both minimally invasive and open surgical reconstructions. I remain committed to staying at the forefront of vascular innovation through ongoing education and research. Additionally, I am proud to help train future surgeons through The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine surgical residency program, ensuring continued excellence in vascular care.
“When Iโm not working, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, doing watersports, working around our property or barbecuing with family.”
Dr. Robbins is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
