About Mark Robbins, MD

โ€œI am dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative vascular care that enhances patientsโ€™ health and quality of life,โ€ says Dr. Robbins. โ€œWith more than 20 years of experience, I specialize in treating arterial and venous diseases including peripheral arterial disease (PAD), carotid disease and abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). My expertise includes minimally invasive, catheter-based endovascular interventions such as angioplasty, stenting and atherectomy, which offer patients faster recovery and improved outcomes. I believe in a personalized approach that addresses each patientโ€™s unique needs.

โ€œA major focus of my practice is limb salvage by intervening to prevent amputations through both endovascular and complex vascular surgeries,โ€ he says. โ€œI trained at the Jobst Vascular Center at the University of Michigan, where I developed skills in both minimally invasive and open surgical reconstructions. I remain committed to staying at the forefront of vascular innovation through ongoing education and research. Additionally, I am proud to help train future surgeons through The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine surgical residency program, ensuring continued excellence in vascular care.

“When Iโ€™m not working, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, doing watersports, working around our property or barbecuing with family.”

Dr. Robbins is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
