Dr. Cox is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been treating patients at UT Health North Campus Tyler for more than 15 years. He specializes in a wide range of laparoscopic surgeries, including breast cancer surgery and malignancies of the gastrointestinal tract. I was very very pleased with the nurse practitioner and the doctor. They both have amazing bedside manners and talked to me and got to know me and my husband as long as it took. You don't find many doctors like this anymore. They were very relatable and made us feel so welcomed and not nervous about my upcoming surgery.
