About Jennifer Flowers MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CPNP
Jennifer Flowers, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CPNP, is a nurse practitioner at UT Health East Texas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute in Quitman. “I always knew nursing was my calling. I didn’t always know that I wanted to be a nurse practitioner though. It wasn’t until I had been a nurse for several years that I went back to school. I always felt like I could do more, improve more and be present more, and I wanted to build relationships with my patients outside of the hospital.”
She has a special interest in orthopedics, offering casting and fracture care, as well as some steroid injections.
Jennifer is a hobbyist and enjoys DIY projects, sewing, scrapbooking, gardening, hiking, camping and caring for her four dogs.

Jennifer Flowers is fabulous with her patients and always makes the visit enjoyable. She explained also about the injection med had changed up some and asked if I was okay with it or we could do the injection like before. She gave me a choice and I love that.
