About Deepti Govathoti
Deepti Govathoti, MD, is a hospitalist at UT Health Carthage and UT Health Henderson and a board-certified family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians Carthage Extended Hours Clinic who knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Govathoti approaches each day as a learning experience. “Every patient is different. I like serving people to help them live long, healthy lives.”
She believes in being transparent with her patients. “It is important that I explain what is going on the help my patients understand how we can help improve their lives.”
Dr. Govathoti is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
