About Samiksha Srivastava
Samiksha Srivastava, MD, MPH, is a physician specializing in occupational and environmental medicine with a focus on prevention, holistic wellness and evidence-based care. “My care philosophy is rooted in empowering patients and employees with education, resources and lifestyle changes that promote long-term health,” she said. She works to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance while balancing individual needs with the health of the workforce.
Dr. Srivastava pursued health care out of a passion for prevention, screening and early intervention for work-related injury and illness. “I have always been drawn to the intersection of medicine, public health and systems-level problem-solving,” she said. Her training reinforced her belief that protecting health at both the individual and community levels creates lasting impact.
Her medical interests include occupational and environmental medicine, toxicology, neurology and lifestyle medicine, with a focus on workplace ergonomics, hearing conservation, and surveillance for asbestos and silica exposure. She conducts Department of Transportation (DOT) exams and serves as a medical review officer. Dr. Srivastava cares for adult patients, primarily working populations, and collaborates with employers and health care teams to develop practical, system-level solutions for workplace health challenges.
Dr. Srivastava is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
