About Lucy Ryan

Lucy Ryan, MD is a pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience caring for children from birth through age 18. She was drawn to healthcare by a deep passion for ensuring children receive the medical care they need to grow and thrive. With a diverse background in pediatrics, she is dedicated to supporting children and their families through every stage of development.
Dr. Ryan believes in creating a supportive, patient-centered environment for the families she serves. “I strive to get to know the child and their family so that I can provide the best care in a patient-centered environment where they feel they are truly cared for and have a medical home,” she said. By building trust and strong relationships, she works to ensure every child receives compassionate, personalized care.
Dr. Ryan is interested in all areas of pediatrics, with particular interest in the social impact on adolescent mental health. “Children are the future and I strongly believe they deserve every chance to reach their full potential,” she said. “I want to be a part of their journey.” Through her work, she aims to help children and adolescents build a healthy foundation that supports lifelong well-being.
In addition to English, Dr. Ryan is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Ryan is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
