About Elizabeth Modene MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Elizabeth Modene, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at the UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute at North Campus Tyler. Her focus is educating patients so they can better care for themselves by understanding their condition and medications.

“As a child, I always wanted to go into the nursing profession,” she said. While working on my bachelor’s degree, I worked with a nurse practitioner and fell in love with her role.”

Elizabeth has been a family nurse practitioner for almost 30 years. She has worked in pediatrics, asthma and allergy.

When not treating patients she enjoys exploring East Texas. She and her husband moved here from Dallas in 2022, and with their children grown and serving as Marines the timing was right.
