UT Health East Texas Welcomes Vascular Tyler to Its Growing Network of Care

Tyler, Texas (June 6, 2025) —  UT Health East Texas is excited to announce the addition of Vascular Tyler, a premier vascular surgery and vascular imaging practice serving East Texas, to its healthcare system. Now operating as the UT Health East Texas Vascular Clinic, this partnership reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional vascular care across the region.

Patients will continue to receive the same trusted, high-quality care from the providers they know, with no changes to clinic locations, phone numbers or physician availability.

As part of this transition, board-certified vascular surgeons Mark R. Robbins, MD, Tyrone J. Miller, DO, and D. Brent Kerns, MD, have joined the UT Tyler School of Medicine faculty, contributing their clinical expertise to the education and mentorship of future physicians. This integration reflects a shared commitment to excellence in both patient care and medical education.

“This talented team has long been recognized for providing advanced vascular care in our region, and we are thrilled to have them join the UT Health East Texas family,” said G. Todd Hill, CEO of UT Health East Texas Physicians. “Their expertise and commitment to compassionate care align perfectly with our mission.”

Olivia Snodgrass, PA-C, along with the experienced support staff, also will join UT Health East Texas as part of the transition.

“This partnership reflects our shared dedication to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care,” said Donald Baker, Market President of UT Health East Texas. “By combining our resources and expanding access to specialized services, we’re strengthening our ability to improve the health and well-being of East Texans.”

Dr. Hishaam Ismael, Chair of the Department of Surgery and Program Director of the UT Tyler School of Medicine’s General Surgery Residency, expressed his excitement about the group joining the School of Medicine, noting their exceptional value to the surgery training program.
