Swing Bed Program

Swing bed program in Quitman, Texas

At UT Health Quitman, we offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services through our swing bed programs. The swing bed program is designed to help patients “swing” or transition from acute hospitalization back to the community at the same level of independence and function they had prior to entering the hospital. Our program focuses on short-term rehabilitation services and/or less intensive medical care. If you’re recovering from a major surgery, require pain management services, or are healing after a major accident or stroke, our swing bed program may be right for you.
