Delivering exceptional rehabilitative care in East Texas
UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation offers a comprehensive network of post-acute rehabilitation services designed to help patients across the region recover and thrive. Our care network includes a specialized inpatient hospital in Tyler, along with outpatient therapy clinics, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs, and Olympic fitness centers located throughout East Texas. Whether you require inpatient or outpatient care, our experienced team uses the latest, evidence-based therapy techniques to help restore function, rebuild confidence, and support long-term independence.
At the heart of our network is the UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Tyler—a 49-bed inpatient facility dedicated to intensive rehabilitation. Here, patients receive personalized treatment plans overseen by a dedicated rehabilitation physician and supported by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as other specialists. With 24/7 nursing care and a structured, healing environment, we focus on delivering the highest level of care during every stage of recovery. To ensure continuity of care, we also offer outpatient clinics and fitness centers across the region, providing convenient access to therapy and wellness support.
A compassionate team of rehabilitation experts
Our team collaborates with each patient to set meaningful goals and track progress—helping you stay strong and supported well beyond your hospital stay. Already home to a community of people dedicated to delivering compassionate service, we are thrilled about what it means for us that ETMC joined the UT Health family in 2018. This partnership means we can deliver greater access to world-class medicine, health centers, technology and research.
Together, we will fight for healthier neighborhoods and for higher qualities of life. We have hope not only in these new state-of-the-art healthcare and services, but in the people who have made this community strong for so many years.
