Located on the second floor of our hospital, our birthing center features state-of-the-art labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) rooms, with continuous, personalized care from our cross-trained nurses and obstetric specialists. Our facilities feature a 15-bed Level I nursery, a dedicated surgery suite for cesarean sections, and a variety of pain management and labor and delivery services to ensure a safe and comfortable pregnancy and childbirth journey. For newborns requiring specialized care, our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Tyler provides top-tier medical support from compassionate experts. Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
In the event your baby is born prematurely or needs special care, our NICU is now available at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, Texas.
In the NICU, skilled medical and nursing staff care for infants of all gestational stages. Our board-certified neonatologists lead a specialized team of nurses, obstetric specialists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, social workers and other caregivers in providing the best care available for your baby.
