About Cheryl Remigio MD, FAAP
Cheryl Remigio, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician at UT Health East Texas Physicians South Broadway in Tyler. Raised by a family of doctors in the Philippines, Dr. Remigio started out as a physical therapist, but soon decided to change the course of her career. “I thought I could do more for people if I were a doctor.”
Dr. Remigio began her career in the Philippines before moving to the U.S. to practice medicine. In Corpus Christi, she worked as a pediatrician before moving to Tyler with her husband and three children. “I just love working with kids and parents,” she said. “I put myself in the parents’ shoes and think, ‘If this were my child, what would I do?’”
Dr. Remigio is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
