About Monica Kovuri
“I believe in evidence-based and patient-centered care that focuses on long-term wellness and prevention,” says Monica Kovuri, MD. “My approach to care focuses on open communication and shared decision-making. Every patient is unique and I strive to help them understand their health conditions and work closely to ensure that their personal values and goals are fully considered when making healthcare decisions.
“I got into healthcare because it allows me to make an impact on people’s lives every day,” she adds. “Supporting individuals to improve and maintain their health is an honor and a responsibility that I deeply value. “My special areas of medical interest include obesity and weight management, preventive medicine and chronic disease management,” she says. “Our clinic provides comprehensive adult primary care including chronic disease management, preventive services, care coordination and diagnostic evaluations.”
