About Ishaq Winters, MD
“I am a compassionate neurologist specializing in headache medicine, and I am dedicated to improving the lives of my patients,” says Dr. Ishaq Winters. “I discovered a passion for helping those affected by headache disorders during my internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at Yale New Haven Hospital.”
“Headache conditions can significantly affect quality of life, and I am committed to addressing both the medical and emotional aspects of headache management,” he says. “I work to reduce the stigmatization often associated with these issues and ensure that patients feel heard and supported on their journey to recovery.” His headache medicine fellowship at Yale University helped him refine his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of headache disorders.
“Beyond my clinical work, I participate in research and patient advocacy to advance the field of headache medicine,” Dr. Winters says. “When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors and volunteering in the community.”
Dr. Winters is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
