Dr Graves did a knee replacement at Quitman Hosp. about 2 yrs ago. It went perfectly and has been a new lease on life. His office appts are always on time and he spends all the time needed to discuss any aspect of my care and rehab. I now am having a problem with my other knee and will use him for certain if another replacement is needed.

Dr. Graves is very attentive to details and gives you answers before you even ask the question. He did my husband's rotator cuff surgery and knee replacement. Both are doing great with no pain now! Definitely someone to count on!!

The doctor was a great person and good bedside manner. He listened and was attentive to my concerns and took the time to listen and evaluate me. Most doctors I feel rushed so they can get to the next patient, I did not feel that way with Dr. Graves.

Dr Graves explained the surgery beforehand and after surgery and therapy I was not that confident he had done a good job but after a year I found I could throw a ball or rock w my right arm without pain. I haven’t been able to do that in about 40 yrs so my confidence in Dr Graves is 100% now ! I highly recommend him.

Dr Graves and his staff are amazing. He did my TKR on my left knee in May. He did a fantastic job. I'm very happy with my recovery. His staff has been extremely helpful and friendly even tho I've had a million questions! Dr Graves will be performing my TKR on my right knee the end of August. I have full confidence this surgery will go well and that I will be well cared for. I highly recommend Dr Graves ! Thank you all for taking sure good care of me !!!

Dr Graves treated my left shoulder rotator cuff. I thought I would need surgery. After examining the X-ray he said no treatment was necessary. He recommended an injection in the shoulder. After the injection there was instant relief. Truly amazing! Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Dr Graves and his staff.

I had both knees replaced three months apart and it went very well. Dr Graves is a great doctor but more than that a great human. The staff is first class and fun to work with. Excellent experience. I hope I never have to go back for any other joint that wears out but if one does Dr Graves is da man.

Dr. Graves recently did my Shoulder repair surgery. After 7+ weeks, and progressing normally, I consider the procedure to be a success. The most professional and friendly office staff and pre- post- Op RNs. Most impressive was Betty Vale, Ortho RNP, she is an extremely knowledgeable ortho professional, with heartfelt concern for her patients. The entire staff (especially Tera and Margie) were responsive with Pre-Op questions and appointments, as well as follow up and post surgery care.

The nurses here are Awesome!! The ones that standed out to me were Cherie,Amy,tech Dlena...with all the stress from my husband having a stroke they made us feel like we were on vacation..Even there staff in ER was awesome.....not one person walked out of our room without asking if we needed anything...the cooks in the kitchen cooking the meals did a great job not only was food great but food was presented attractive...was very impressed with the way we were treated...kudos to all of them and there supervisor that trained them. It's been several years ago when Dr. Graves did my surgery on my hands & wrist. I had a Ganglion Cyst & Carpal Tunnel! He not only made the scars so small that you can't even tell I had surgery but I'm 100% healed & pain free several years later!! He's an amazing surgeon who cares about his patients! I had a hip replacement about 5 years ago. I never think about it. I am a senior and moderately active. I completely forget that I have had surgery. If you need orthopedic surgery this is the place for you. The last time that I was Dr. Graves was my three year checkup. He said that he didn't want to see me again.

Dr. Richard Marshall Graves performed a full hip replacement for me two years ago. I am a senior citizen. I was walking with a walker in three days. In two weeks I was walking with a cane. In six weeks I had forgotten that I had a hip replacement. I never think about my hip. I work in the yard. I cut tree limbs and drag them to the burn pile. For recreation I kayak with friends and relatives. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Graves and the SS Hospital.
