Preetham Muskula, MD, is board-certified cardiologist at UT Health East Heart and Vascular Institute in Athens. He is trained in echocardiography, interventional cardiology, coronary and peripheral interventions and catheter-based therapies for structural heart disease. He also is experienced in transcatheter aortic valve replacements, mitral clip, PFO closure and Watchman device implantations.
“Excellent cardiovascular care is attained by a strong patient-physician relationship and access to the most comprehensive and innovative treatments,” he said. “My goal is to be a comprehensive resource for cardiovascular care for my patients and use an individualized care plan for each patient that is designed to achieve the best outcomes.”
Dr. Muskula has authored many articles that are featured in peer-reviewed publications such as Circulation Cardiovascular Imaging, International Journal of Cardiology and Catheterization Cardiovascular Interventions.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Muskula enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, playing tennis and meeting new people.
