I was struggling with a chronic lung infection when I first saw Dr. McShane. She showed me techniques at my first appointment to help me manage my infection, and I benefited immediately. Every time I see her, I learn something new that improves my life. She is extremely knowledgeable about bronchiectasis, NTM and other bacterial lung infections. I never feel rushed during my visit, and she always takes the time to answer everything on my list. She explains things very clearly. She is by far the best pulmonologist I have every had. Her nurse and respiratory therapist are excellent too. Everyone in Tyler is so helpful and friendly.

Every time I see Dr. McShane, I learn something new about how to manage my chronic lung infection. She is extremely knowledgeable about bronchiectasis, NTM and other bacterial lung infections. On my first visit, she starting teaching me how to do airway clearance, and every time I see her, I learn something new. She spends plenty of time with me, and never makes me feel rushed, even though I always have a long list of questions. Her nurse and respiratory therapist are excellent too. Everyone in Tyler is so helpful and friendly.

I had been diagnosed with MAC Lung Disease by a pulmonologist in Cleburne, TX. He insisted on prescribing the usual protocal of antibiotics which I could not tolerate. A friend recommended I see Dr. McShane. I am so elated that I saw her. She had other tests done the morning before I saw her and at this time she is not recommending antibiotics until she gets her own test results. I found Dr. McShane to not only be exceptionally competent, but also very caring. In fact, the entire office staff was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable!!! I look forward to a long doctor/patient relationship that I can entrust my lungs to.
