UT Health East Texas Physicians Chandler - Family Medicine
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Lisa Ferguson, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner who became interested in medicine early. “My little sister had cancer when I was growing up, so I was on the patient side of healthcare as a child. I always wanted to make a difference in how patients receive healthcare.”
Her philosophy is that she and her patients are on a team. “We’re in this together. If I can get you help as a patient, it’s up to you to accept the help. I can’t force care on you.” It’s gratifying when a patient joins the team. “When they buy into it and change their life and start feeling better, that’s the reward.”
Lisa is welcoming new patients to her practice. She can provide care for your whole family, taking care of patients from as young as two months old.
Lisa is also the founder of Hope Haven of East Texas, a faith-based home in Lindale for at-risk girls age 13-17. “We’re providing the girls a family environment and hope for the future.”
