Kristin Meharry, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner who practices at the UT Health East Texas Orthopedic Institute. “The focus of my job is to help patients avoid future fractures and make lifestyle changes in order to prevent complications from osteoporosis.”
Meharry understands and emphasizes the importance of communication and prevention with her patients. “I love working with people. My philosophy is to treat patients like family members, and that’s never steered me wrong.”
Meharry earned her associate degree from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from The University of Texas at Tyler.
