Fain, MD, FAAOS, enjoys providing his patients with life-enhancing treatments, such as joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine procedures and reconstruction for orthopedic trauma cases. “It’s very gratifying to see somebody who came into your office in a wheelchair come walking back in three months later after surgery.”
After being in private practice for 17 years, Dr. Fain became a UT Health East Texas physician, which gave him more time to do what he enjoys most. “It has freed me up to concentrate solely on the practice of medicine.”

Dr.Fain is very professional and explains every detail so I could understand what and when of my (total knee replacement)
Operation . I give the office and x ray staff 5 stars also . All and all it's been a very pleasant experience.

I Had inquanal hernia surgery mon. 29th 2022, Miss Anne and her surgical team are the best at what they do, and would highly recommend to my friends and family, and there communication is right on point as they followed up the day after surgery by calling me at home to check on how I was doing, i would give them each a 1000 point.

Dr. Fain and his staff were very friendly and helpful— they helped me quickly and compassionately— I was still in a lot of pain from my injury. They also were helped me a lot with pricing, as I am uninsured and paying cash.
