Joseph B. Coopwood, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians Jacksonville. As a general surgeon in Operation Enduring Freedom, Dr. Coopwood, followed in the footsteps of his grandfather (World War II) and father (Vietnam War) by becoming a surgeon in the Air Force. “Being a surgeon is what I’ve wanted to do since I was about 8 years old, and I’ve always thought highly of the military, so it was a good fit.”

Robert A. Boudreau, DPM, is a board-certified foot surgeon and podiatrist at UT Health East Texas Physicians Fifth Street in Tyler. Dr. Boudreau believes “the feet are the mirror of your health. When your feet hurt, it prevents you from doing normal, everyday activities. This can affect your current and future health tremendously.”

"Stephen Rydzak, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has many specialties. He is an internist, a diving medical physician and medical director of the UT Health East Texas Wound Healing Center.
