CounterPunch is a 10-week exercise program designed for individuals with movement disorders caused by neurological conditions. Each class focuses on regaining balance and strength, improving hand-eye coordination and vocal strengthening. Exercise is Medicine
The Exercise is Medicine program at the UT Health East Texas provides a unique opportunity for individuals to receive a FREE 2-week pass to a local UT Health East Texas Olympic Center after meeting with a degreed and certified exercise specialist for an initial fitness assessment, goal development, and exercise prescription. Forward Motion is a unique exercise program specifically designed to address the needs of patients recently discharged from outpatient rehabilitation or membership candidates who need additional support starting an exercise program. This program offers an additional level of supervision from our program coordinators allowing for a safe transition to an independent exercise program. Please call for our current class schedule.
