Tammye Willis, APRN, FNP-C

Tammye Willis, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner at UT Health East Texas Physicians on Three Lakes Parkway in Tyler. She treats each patient and their family with the same compassion, dedication and care as she would her own loved ones. She aims to develop strong relationships with her patients as they work together to identify, manage and prevent various medical conditions.

“I strive to educate my patients about the various disease processes, promoting prevention and early detection,” she said. “I truly believe that if patients understand the various medical conditions, we can hopefully work together to manage and/or prevent them; it’s a partnership.”

Tammye got into healthcare because she loves taking care of people. It is more than a job to her, it is a true passion for helping others. She wants to make a difference in the lives of others by helping to improve health, ease pain and hopefully alleviate suffering and loss.

When not treating patients, she likes to cook, garden, plant trees and work on the farm with her family. She also likes to go to the beach and enjoys hiking and kayaking in the Ozarks.
