Board-certified family medicine physician Steven Griffin, DO, has practiced medicine in the Pittsburg area for over a decade. He began his career in emergency medicine but switched to family medicine in 2009. “I believe seeing these families in a continuity setting has deepened my ability to make a positive investment in the lives of patients.”
Before medicine, Dr. Griffin had extensive experience in medical research, underwent graduate-level education in biblical studies in seminary and worked in upper-level management in the corporate world of information systems software design and consulting. He also is a professional speaker and has spent many years instructing others on the art of public speaking.
As a father of eight – four girls and four boys – he is uniquely qualified to provide medical care to all stages of life. One of his children is a special-needs child and allows him unique insight into the special-needs community. “I most enjoy listening well to patients and providing sound wisdom to navigate the intricacies of life – medical, emotional and everything in between.”
