Sambhitab Salvi, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians on Fifth Street in Tyler where he sees patients ages 12 and older. “I am passionate about healthcare, and I love to interact with families as a whole. Family medicine has given me the opportunity to do so.”
In addition to family medicine, Dr. Salvi performs basic dermatology procedures such as cryotherapy and skin biopsies.
Dr. Salvi is fluent in English and Hindi. When not seeing patients, he enjoys cycling, fishing and gardening.
Dr. Salvi is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.

Dr. Salvi was our family Family doctor for many years in Abilene. We have not been able to keep a doctor since he left. They keep leaving after a couple of years . Dr. Salvi was not only our physician, he was such a caring person, and so thorough in his exams and treatment of my husband and I. We sure do miss him and wish we could have followed him to Tyler. His new patients are so lucky to have him . We send him another hug in this review.

Dr Sambhitab Salvi is one of the kindest Doctor that I have met! His nursing staff is superior and well trained. I felt like I was being treated as a an old friend not a new patient! His nursing staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! And I was as able to get help with my immediate health needs. And future plans for my long term care was discussed.

I am blessed to have him right now he seems to reallycare even when I'm a mess being without my ADHD meds. But as a new patient that I am only time will tell . I've seen a lot of Drs but this one seems promising. I'm not as nervous seeing him but yet I'm still a wreck . He's getting me under control. Thanks Doc . Really need to get my anxiety down soon lol .. I thank u for calling in to get things sooner waiting on a call here
