Every time I see Dr. McShane, I learn something new about how to manage my chronic lung infection. She is extremely knowledgeable about bronchiectasis, NTM and other bacterial lung infections. On my first visit, she starting teaching me how to do airway clearance, and every time I see her, I learn something new. She spends plenty of time with me, and never makes me feel rushed, even though I always have a long list of questions. Her nurse and respiratory therapist are excellent too. Everyone in Tyler is so helpful and friendly.

Dr. McShane and the rest of the pulmonology team at UT Texas Tyler are absolutely world class. They likely see more patients with rare lung diseases than anywhere else in the world, and they strive to treat each patient exceptionally. I have traveled from California to UT Tyler over the last 8 years and have consistently received world-class care resulting in the curing of two rare macrobacterium lung diseases. I can't say enough good things about this superb team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

I was referred by my Internal Medicine doctor and my pulmonologist. I spent the day in the clinic and was cared for by a professional team after Dr. McShane determined it was time to take action to deal with my respiratory condition.
