Jose Luis Salinas Badillo, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner fluent in English and Spanish, who sees patients at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Pittsburg. He believes in being his patients’ most prominent health advocate and values collaboration with other health professionals to achieve goals. He got into healthcare to make a difference in people’s daily lives. “The ability to impact the physical and mental well-being of people in the community has been a true blessing in my life.”
His focus is working with patients to optimize overall health and wellness. He achieves this by promoting good health and, disease prevention, and by education patients on their diagnosis and treatment options.
When not treating patients, he is an outdoor enthusiast who loves running, cycling, hiking and camping. He also plays on several intramural leagues including softball and volleyball; weekends he can be found camping with family and friends.
