Colin believes that primary prevention and health promotion are two of the most important aspect s of healthcare. Her goal is not only to treat patient s' pre-existing conditions, but also to help prevent illnesses from occurring or worsening. "Being an advocate for my patient s and addressing their needs both physically and mentally is a top priorit y for me," she said.

Colin chose a career in healthcare because she has always loved taking care of people, making them feel better, and being a nurse practitioner allows her to do just that. She was drawn to family medicine because it gives her the opportunit y to treat multiple conditions.

In her spare time, Colin loves being outdoors, traveling to new places, and spending time with her husband and two children.
