UT Health North Campus Tyler
Annie Lin, MD, is a gastroenterologist at the UT Health East Texas Digestive Disease Center at North Campus Tyler. Dr. Lin believes that mutual trust and understanding between the patient and physician is essential for good medical care. She is interested in general gastroenterology and in treating a wide range of diseases including, but not limited to, gastroesophageal reflux, indigestion, peptic ulcer, liver disease/cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea/constipation and colon cancer screening/surveillance.
“Healthcare is a very fulfilling field for me because I am able to make positive changes in others’ everyday lives,” she says. “I also appreciate the intellectual challenges that I face as a physician, and the continuous learning from colleagues and patients.” Dr. Lin was inspired by the close, long-term relationships that gastroenterologists have with their patients -- working as a team to combat and defeat long-term illnesses to allow for healthy digestion that is essential to a healthy and happy life.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Lin loves to cook, bake, enjoy time outdoors and spend time with her husband and new baby. In addition to English, Dr. Lin speaks Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Lin is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
