Ann Abrameit, MD, FACOG, NCMP is a board-certified gynecologist at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Lindale. “Many women are caretakers of their families but do not take time to care for their own health. I enjoy helping women with preventive care so they can live their best life.”
Dr. Abrameit enjoys working with women of all ages, including those with special needs. She has special interest in adolescents, perimenopause and menopause.
In addition to treating routine gynecologic concerns, Dr. Abrameit has taken additional training and education in menopause management. She also is part of the The Menopause Society and is comfortable treating patients with bioidentical hormones. “I want to help my patients with their marriages and sexual health, especially as they age,” she said.
Recently, she has moved back into Tyler after being in the country for 12 years. She is active in her church, Bethel Hope. She and her husband lived in the Middle East for three years, enjoy that culture and have been back on visits to participate in marriage conferences in Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Abrameit is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
