Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Richard M. Graves, MD, has joined UT Health East Texas Physicians in Quitman. Dr. Graves treats patients of all ages who suffer from orthopedic pain or injuries.
Dr. Graves completed his Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. He earned his medical degree and continued his residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock.
Dr. Graves is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.

Love Dr. Graves!
He and his staff are friendly and very efficient. The wait time was minimal and images were taken right there in the office. DR Graves was able to diagnose immediately and provide an indepth but clearly defined explanation on the problem with my knee.
I feel releaved knowing I can trust this doctor and his staff going forward.

Dr Graves us an experienced and very knowledgeable Orthopedist, he replaced my knee 2 years ago and also diagnosed and treated me for trigger finger, my most recent visit resulted in a referral to a Spinal specialist but ruled out shoulder problems, Dr Graves explains each step of your treatment and his entire staff is polite knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Richard M. Graves is fantastic. I have been in pain for years. Tried chiropractor, tried theropy without relief. His office staff is terrific and helpful and kind. First visit and I am not in pain. Thank all of you. You really get a real person when you call.

Dr. Graves is great. I being 86, have had problems with my right knee. He has injected it and has proved for me, to be what was needed. Office staff, wonderful. All including Dr. Graves are a good mix. Thank you.

Dr Graves did a knee replacement at Quitman Hosp. about 2 yrs ago. It went perfectly and has been a new lease on life. His office appts are always on time and he spends all the time needed to discuss any aspect of my care and rehab. I now am having a problem with my other knee and will use him for certain if another replacement is needed.

Dr. Graves is very attentive to details and gives you answers before you even ask the question. He did my husband's rotator cuff surgery and knee replacement. Both are doing great with no pain now! Definitely someone to count on!!
