Cynthia Ball, DO, MS, is a board-certified occupational medicine physician, who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians North Campus Tyler. “I believe the healthcare team includes the patient. An informed patient, who is an active participant in his or her care, is one of the keys to better health outcomes. I try to meet patients where they are in the process of behavior change.”

She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas and her doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. In addition, she earned her master’s degree in environmental science from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches and completed her occupational and environmental medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, where she was the chief resident.
