Soran Mahmood, MD, DABR, is a board-certified radiologist who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians at North Campus Tyler. “My care philosophy is to provide prompt, comprehensive and compassionate care that is tailored to the specific needs of the patient.”
Dr. Mahmood chose to pursue a career in healthcare because it combines cutting-edge science and technology to meet the personalized needs of his patients. His medical interests include abdominal, pelvic and musculoskeletal imaging, focusing on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and arthrographic procedures.
In addition to radiology, Dr. Mahmood is board certified in nuclear medicine and pediatrics. His personal interests include classical and world music, traveling and spending time with his children.
Dr. Mahmood is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
