"As a neuropsychologist, I believe in providing individualized care that integrates scientific expertise with empathy. I approach each patient holistically, considering their neurological, psychological, social, and cultural contexts. My goal is to empower patients and enhance their quality of life through comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment plans," Dr. Prieto said.
"I decided to pursue healthcare to make a meaningful impact on others' lives daily, contributing to public health on a larger scale. My special interests include neurodegenerative disorders and traumatic brain injury, and I prefer working with adults and the geriatric population. I am fascinated by the intricate relationship between the brain and behavior and how neurological processes shape thoughts, emotions, and actions."
When not seeing patients, Dr. Prieto enjoys spending time with her family, taking her goldendoodle to the park and watching movies. In addition to English, Dr. Prieto is fluent in Spanish.
