YouthFirst Children

Offering Help for Children

YouthFirst Children at UT Health Behavioral Health has had remarkable success with programs designed specifically for individual children, ages 5 to 12, and their families. Children may be referred by a physician or family member.

We provide research-based therapies to help children from hard places and their families cope with the problems and complications of mental and behavioral health problems. Our programs have produced good results with children who are victims of trauma – which we see all too often – and we can be a valuable resource, showing parents how to work more successfully with their children. Our goal is to restore balance to the lives of not only children but their families as well.
