Matthew Rudolph, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who helps patients return to the activities and lifestyle they enjoy. His decision to become a physician was influenced by the many surgeries his mother had during his youth, and by serving as an EMT during his college years.
“I’m very patient-focused,” Dr. Rudolph said. “In today’s world, there has to be a partnership between the doctor and the patient. I provide the information, and together we make decisions based on what the patient wants.
Dr. Rudolph earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and his doctor of medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.
In Athens, he practices sports medicine for local schools and helps people of all ages stay active.
