Reviews for William A. Elfarr, MD, FACS
I like Dr Elfar. My problem is with UT Health in Tyler. They keep billing me for services when my SS and supplement cover everything, with no charge to me. My wife has call them many times and all she gets is a V/M and they never return her call. You’d think they’d know how to file for insurance and properly code the services to get paid. I’ve never had billing problems, like this, at any other medical facility before.

My husband needed to see a urologist and was a little nervous. Dr Elfarr was kind, compassionate and very patient. The office had everything in place for the Dr to review. Easy and informative. Very thankful we have him in our small east texas town.

Dr Elfarr explains what the results show and gives many options. I appreciate how he explains everything as well as leaves the options up to you. He is not just " one way" of doing something.

Doctor didn’t explain much about testing. Didn’t listen to my concerns. Made me feel uncomfortable about wanting to tell all my concerns. Went over some information very fast and left no room for questions or comments. I’m just not comfortable about doing the surgery at this time!

I really like Dr Elfarr. He thoroughly explains your diagnosis & what treatment he recommends. I trust him, which means a lot due to my other health issues. He takes plenty of time to listen to your questions & answers you & I am very satisfied with his responses. Great Dr. I drive an hr to see him. I will not switch to a Urologist in the town I live... ONLY if he retires.
