Jathan Cantu, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Henderson that sees patients 18 years and older. “I believe I was called to the medical profession to serve a hurting world. My heart has always been oriented to help those in need. Medicine was the right intersection of passion, temperament, interest and opportunity.

Dr Cantu has to be one of the best Dr I've seen in my 65 years. I've a lot of major health issues in my life, dozens of surgeries some major, heart problems etc and in my first visit with him he asked me about everything and listened and asked questions and had concerns. This was the first time I've ever had a doctor actually want to know my history in detail before he treated me the first time. I'm very impressed with Dr Cant and feel he's an asset to your facility as well as our community.
